We are committed to provide for the needs of a growing population while also making sure that we do not in anyway harm the planet, we continually monitor the way we operate, who we work with and its sustainable impacts, identifying any lack or opportunities to do better at keeping the planet healthy. When it comes to tackling climate change we help regulate the supply chain and are among the first at providing alternatives to existing commodities that are a threat to the environment. Global warming is turning the planet's environment hostile with current techniques of work, there has not been a greater need for reforms, we contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by opting for renewable sources of energy, dereliction and transition from plastic products, proper handling of liquid and solid water without any negative impacts on the ecosystem, we promote afforestation, zero harm to flora or fauna and encouraging sustainable methods to everyone we come in contact with paving way for a green tomorrow.

Recycling & Biodiversity

We are committed to preventing the pollution caused by the usage of products that take years to biodegrade, most of these products cause a variety of harm to the environment, plastics and products based out of fossil fuels are the major contributors, all our operations use fully recyclable and biodegradable materials, bio-plastics, glass, plant fibers etc. conducted in ways that do not harm any natural habitats, destruction of certain habitats with high ecological value can negatively contribute to climate change, local communities and ecosystems.
Biodiversity has been on a steady decline since 1970, almost 58% has been lost since 1970, many of once existed organic life has either gone extinct or is endangered. In all our activities we are committed to not inadvertently affect biodiversity, by controlling invasive or non-native plant species, conserving soil fertility, helping create ecological corridors, feeding and breeding areas for wildlife and more.

Investing in Communities

At Aetirna we empower our people everywhere to create a positive impact on their local communities investing considerably with ambitious goals of eradicating poverty, unemployment, overwork, illiteracy, hunger, malnutrition, lack of infrastructure or mechanization and various problems that hinder the growth and needs of a community. All of our people are encouraged to bring new ideas and initiatives to better the current conditions, to inspire and educate on how each action made by an individual or as a group makes a difference, change has to start somewhere, even if it is small the ripples it creates might inspire a positive direction.

Population

The global population has reached a total of 8 billion in 2022 and is on the rise, expected to be around 9.7 by 2050, and 10.4 billion by mid 2080, it took 12 years to reach from 7 to 8 billion but will take 15 years to reach 9 billion indicating that the rise is slowing. The dramatic growth has been mainly due to an increase in the number of births per household, population is one of the major contributor when it comes to shortages or over utilization of resources and pollution, at Aetirna we support the united nations agenda to spread and educate people on the ill effects of the rise in population and its impacts on the planet, preparing and working on constructive ways to provide for the growing population.

If it is unethical or unfair we don't do it, extensive governance helps us with the oversight and keeps the structure of the company alive, when it comes to human rights we have set high standards, we do not in anyway involve in processes that deprive people of their rights, we are committed to and are guided by international standards and also encourage businesses working with us to uphold the same. At Aetirna we have enshrined policies that we or our partners do not in anyway involve in activities involving forced, compulsory or child labor, discrimination, lack of safety, illegal or non-compliant activities, destruction or activities that bring extensive harm to ones health, the environment or ecosystems and more.

Sustainable Development Goals

As of 2024 around 35% of the world's accounted population are living in poverty on a 1.9$ to 3.2$ per day threshold, with almost one in ten people going to bed hungry, at Aetirna we have adopted the united nations 17 sustainable goals, we support each goals created by the UN driven by our purpose to create better value for the world, we believe a problem with balance, unfair or unequal usage or accumulation of resources and efforts causes many problems and can be avoided with the improvisation of the global supply chain to avoid over or under utilization, we envision a world where the most essential basic foods are of zero cost to the consumer, we aim and make efforts towards and against poverty, hunger, wellbeing, climate action, education, irresponsible consumption or hoarding, and various others, but we understand that no one business or stakeholder can meet the global demands, governments, business, communities all play a crucial role in making an impact and transforming the current living situation in this global effort.

Sustainability
